#Passengersmovie Review;
As the title suggests, the film is about 2 passengers who awaken 90 years early from their hibernation period in a spaceship that is on it’s way to a new planet (a planet that is pretty much a 2nd Earth).
Pros:
The music was absolutely beautiful not to mention eerie (as the main setting is set in space) and who better to deliver it than Thomas Newman, the Academy Award nominated composer responsible for bringing beautiful music scores to life like “The Shawshank Redemption” and that this one itself is his 14th Oscar nomination.
The visual effects are beautifully excellent and makes you feel that you are watching it in 3-D (sometimes 3-D is not too bad even though I watched it without 3-D 🙂 ).
Cons:
The concept and story is unoriginal as the plot makes you think you are actually watching a sci-fi version of Titanic.
The main stars; Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt share a chemistry that is undeniable yet flawed.
Overall the film is no masterpiece but not bad to watch. Without giving too much away, there is more to my brief synopsis of the film. If you like sci-fi mixed with romance as well as the main stars, watch the film and you will understand what I mean.
