5. The Way We Were
Ranked as #6 in the American Film Institute’s list “100 Years…100 Passions”, this romantic drama focuses on two opposites played by Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford who share a strong attraction but their political views drive them apart.

4. Soylent Green
Set in a not-too-distant 2022 where the world is crammed by overpopulation and the greenhouse effect, and loosely based on Harry Harrison’s 1966 novel Make Room! Make Room!, this dystopian sci-fi thriller centers on Charlton Heston’s Detective Frank Thorn who investigates a murder that is connected to the titular product.

3. Westworld
Before there was its TV counterpart, Jurassic Park (1993) which the late director and author Michael Crichton wrote, and The Terminator (1984), there was Westworld. This science fiction western thriller follows two friends (Golden Globe winners James Brolin and Richard Benjamin) who decide to have their vacation at an innovative adult-themed amusement park called Delos that contains three themed worlds, Western World, Medieval World, and Roman World, but it is not long when a computer breakdown occurs and the robots cause chaos for the guests, particularly the Gunslinger (the late Oscar winner Yul Brynner).

2. The Exorcist
Widely considered to be one of the greatest horror films ever made, and based on William Peter Blatty’s 1971 novel of the same name, who also produced the motion picture and wrote the screenplay, the story centers on the demonic possession of a young girl and a mother’s desperation and determination to save her by seeking help from two priests.

1. Robin Hood
It’s fairly common knowledge that everyone knows the famous Robin Hood story. In this Disney animated action-adventure, in a world of anthropomorphic animals, the eponymous archer must save his fellow citizens and battle against the greedy Prince John.
