Avengers: Endgame” Review:

Despite plot-hole confusions and the runtime, “Avengers: Endgame” is thrilling, enjoyable, emotionally moving, even surprising, and delivers an unexpected yet possibly unforgettable conclusion to its 22-film Infinity Saga.

Thanos: “I am inevitable.”

Pros:

Climax:

I’ve got two words for you fellow readers…epic and exhilarating.

Dialogue:

A great fusion of gripping, nostalgic, funny, and dramatic.

Entertainment:

For those who are die-hard fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there is no doubt that the whole film will entertain and also shock you.

Impact:

In terms of emotion.

Performances:

What a dynamite ensemble.

References to Other Motion Pictures with Time as a Subject Matter:

Film fanatics and geeks will likely be heavily satisfied to hear names of older movies that also focus on time.

Story:

I’m sure there have been fan theories that consist of time travel for this flick, and we were right on a certain level. I did not expect that – spoiler alert – a time-heist plan was going to be crucial in the entire motion picture but the filmmakers executed it greatly and even made it fun to watch.

Cons:

Death Count:

I’m not saying this is bad, it is just heartbreaking to see some beloved characters die, no spoilers here.

Plot-Holes:

One of the puzzlements I will mention is at one point one character’s whereabouts are left unanswered but hopefully they will be a response to it in future MCU movies if that was the filmmakers’ intention.

Running Time:

Some may find the 3 hours included in the film confusing or well-put if the whole purpose of it is for the narrative, but that is completely up to you to decide and debate.

Overall, the film as a whole serves as an exciting and massive roller-coaster ride, and of course, an undeniable blockbuster regardless of bafflements with the plot and 3 hours of viewing but boy is it absolutely worth it. During my first viewing, I sat in the front row and it is recommended that you do that also while the movie is still showing, if your eyes can handle it.

P.S I watched the film again recently, specifically nearly three weeks ago on the 8th of May. This marks it the first time I have watched the same MCU flick in the cinema.

My own picture taken at the cinema.
