On this day, “Annie”, which introduced Aileen Quinn and starred Albert Finney, Carol Burnett, Tim Curry etc., was released on June 18th 1982, thus making the film 35 years old as of today.

For those in the know, the film focuses on the orphan and eponymous character played by Aileen Quinn who is adopted by billionaire Oliver Warbucks played by Albert Finney while still being determined to find her real parents. Along the way, Annie brings optimism and joy in the Warbucks household.
