Less than 5-word critique; poetic, entertaining, and thought-provoking.

This is one of my spooky season reads this year and one of the first Edgar Allan Poe poems I’ve ever read. It is a classic for a reason. For me, the whole story is a poetic take on possibly loneliness, grief, aimlessness, and maybe even coming to meet your maker. The titular raven symbolizes the last aspect to me.

Overall, a beautifully well-written poem to read.

Recommended to fans of poetry, Poe, and horror literature.
